ABOUT RENÉE

Hi! I’m Renée. A lover of people, international speaker, and author dedicated to helping you create the Genuine Connections that Lead to Opportunities…just like I have!

Growing up as an Italian-American gal, the most common place you’d find me was sitting around the kitchen table with my Mom, Dad, Grandmother and Brother EATING (the best part of every day!), talking (well, sometimes arguing with lots of hands gestures of course! haha)  but above all-COMMUNICATING!

Whenever something was bothering me, my parents would always say four words to me that made me feel better on the spot: “Lets.Talk.About.It.”

Until I became an adult, I never realized the importance and impact of these words in helping me to give and receive something that is one of the most important parts of being a human being. CONNECTION.

This space for, and love of connection manifested itself in my dream from the young age of five to become a Broadway performer! First I started out as a dancer, then added singing to the mix, and once I got a taste for acting in musicals-there was nothing else I wanted to do more!

No one in my family was a performer, nor knew anything about the entertainment industry. In fact, my Dad worked in a factory, my mother was a hairdresser, and everyone else in my life thought I was a little “coo-coo” to have such a big dream! They never missed a chance to remind me that “performing is such an unstable career, and I needed something to fall back on.” (Now, they weren’t wrong about the unstable part, but the plan B part, was something I took no part in!)

Although I faced thousands upon thousands of rejections as a performer, everything from “Ahh, you look too Italian” to “You’re too Short” to “You’re too different,” I never missed a chance to cheer on the other women in an audition or greet them as we all waited in anticipation to see who was getting a callback.

As I began to gather some wins, I realized that something I was doing differently was…

Where others were COMPETING, I was CONNECTING.

I loved making conversation and pointing out what was great in someone, and I guess that’s because I’m what they’d call an empath.

See, like many of you, I lived most of my life as a perfectionist, with self-judgment and criticism constantly lurking in the depths of my mind. This has always driven me to be a seeker, reading every self-help book I could, continually writing and reflecting to understand myself better and be a better me.

I know how good it feels to be around someone who exudes positive energy or when someone is kind or offers a sincere compliment.

Through writing, I uncovered the Importance of Connecting with Myself First and then Connecting with Others in a Real and Meaningful Way. This ability to connect is what allowed me to create genuine and sustained relationships that precede all personal and professional success.

I’ve had the honor of touring all over the world on several Broadway National tours, reaching my dream of being ON Broadway in five different Broadway musicals, and then gaining one of the most significant opportunities of my life, playing Frankie Valli’s wife, Mary Delgado in Clint Eastwood’s, “Jersey Boys” movie.

THE CONNECTIONS WE MAKE LEAD TO THE OPPORTUNITIES WE CREATE!

When I decided to become an entrepreneur, I had NO idea how to BE an ENTREPRENEUR! (hello, ignorance is bliss...to be honest...I didn’t even fully know what an entrepreneur was!) What I did know was how to CONNECT, and I used that to connect on camera, which landed me as the co-host of Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi’s “World Summit”, as well as on Dean Graziosi’s top 1% podcast and as the creator of a brand new digital course to help business owners and entrepreneurs get on camera and be themselves. (In the height of a pandemic, this was a game-changer!)

I then completed my book, which became a B&N and Amazon Best-seller, with endorsements from some of the greatest leaders in multiple industries!

You can have all of the systems, tactics, and information in the world, but if you don’t know how to connect in an authentic way, none of that matters because remember this:

ALL HUMAN BEINGS WANT IS TO FEEL SEEN, HEARD AND UNDERSTOOD.

I want to help YOU COMMUNICATE to CREATE the Genuine Connections that Lead to Massive Opportunities because You have this ONE life to live.

Why would you want to waste a moment of it sitting on the sidelines?
